 Prayer is the life blood of the Christian life. It keeps us in touch with the One who loves us and by His mercy and grace, offers us love, purpose, forgiveness and hope. 

 Prayer takes on many forms. Sometimes we pray with our heads bowed and our eyes closed; sometime we pray with heads up and eyes wide open. At other times we pray with words, and sometimes with groanings too deep for words. We speak our prayers and we sing them. Sometimes we write them down and turn them in as part of our offering and we even type email requests for prayer.
